Content formats
OSCRI not only provide a content metadata standard, but also a open content format standard. OSCRI defines an open content format as one that is universally accessible, royalty free, patent free and maintained by an open forum.
This work has not yet begun by OSCRI, but the Norwegian Ministry of IT (Fornyingsdepartementet) have made a reference catalog that is very useful as a start.
